Code Studio

Privacy Policy

Last Updated: March 29, 2026

Welcome to Code Studio. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This policy explains how our Android application handles information when you use our services.

Our core philosophy is simple: Your code belongs to you. We do not upload your personal files to our servers.

1. Information We Collect

Code Studio is designed to work primarily as a local tool. We do not require you to create an account or provide personal details like your name or phone number to use the editor.

  • Local Files: Any HTML, CSS, or JS files you create are stored directly on your device.
  • App Usage: We may collect non-personal data (like crash reports or feature usage) to improve app performance.

2. Device Permissions

To provide a seamless coding experience, we request the following permissions:

  • Storage Access (Files & Media): Required to save your projects, open existing files, and manage your workspace.
  • Internet Access: Required for the Live Preview feature (to load external CDNs like FontAwesome) and for ad delivery.

3. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:

  • Google AdMob: Used to display advertisements. They may use your Advertising ID to show relevant ads.
  • Firebase (Google): We use Firebase for Remote Configuration (managing app features) and Analytics to understand app stability.

4. Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
